Pebbles, Pebbles – Everywhere – Come along to create some art work out of pebbles found on the beach. Meet at Rye Harbour car park at 2pm – 3.30pm. Wheelchair accessible. Donations appreciated.

WED 3rd        

Mapp & Lucia’s Walk – Meet at the Look Out at the Eastern end of the High Street at 2pm. Cost £6.50 per person. Walks Wednesday and the First & Third Saturdays of the month. Last Wednesday walk 17th September, last Saturday walk 20th September.

FRI 5th

Last Day of RSA Summer Exhibition – Held at Boys Club, Mermaid Street , Rye .

SAT 6th

Antiques & Quality Collectables – Held at Rye Community Centre, Conduct Hill, from 9.30am – 4pm  

Brede Steam Engine Society – Brede Water Works from 10am – 4pm Winchelsea Church Market – Open 10.30 – 12.00

Classic Bike show & Jumble – Held at Ham  Street , Marsh Road . Gates open 10am.

Rye Arts Festival – Runs till 28th September

Camber Castle Circular Walk – A chance to explore Henry VIII’S Castle, and see the Wildlife  of Castle water. Meet at Brede Lock car park  10am returning 1pm. Donations appreciated.

SUN 28th

Friends of Rye Wurlitzer – Paul Roberts at Thomas Peacocke, Community College. Doors open 1.30 concert 2.30pm. Tickets on the door £5.50 per person, including refreshments.

SEPTEMBER CALENDAR 2008

  Rye & Winchelsea Centre are holding their first Autumn/Winter talk on Thursday 18th September at 2.30 p.m. in Beckley Village Centre.

  “A Mission Hospital in ‘ Africa a talk given by Dr Chris Pitcher.

Dr Pitcher is a Specialist in blood diseases.  He is also a well known member of the Rye & Winchelsea Centre”.

The entrance charge is £1.50 (one pounds fifty pence) for members and £2.00 (two pounds) for non members, which includes refreshments.

NON MEMBERS ARE VERY WELCOME
