DONATIONS URGENTLY NEEDED TO MEET TARGET - PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY

PROJECT  PLAYGROUND BEHIND VILLAGE HALL

The Rye Harbour Ducks Playground Association has been formed to raise money towards building a playground suitable for young children on waste ground behind the Village Hall.

The land is owned by Icklesham Parish Council, who have agreed to part fund the project, which will cost about £15,000.  The aim is to start building of the playground on 1st September of this year.  Over the next few months we will be holding a series of fund-raising events around the village.  This will be a permanent facility for all of the young children of the village and it is hoped that the whole village will support this project.  For more information on the project or to offer assistance please phone Claire on 223894.

The parent and toddler group are holding a coffee morning in aid of the Rye Harbour Ducks Playground Association on Wednesday 15th February from 10 am until 12 noon at the Village Hall.  There will be a cake stall, raffle and bric-a-brac stall, please come along and support us.  Any donations of raffle prizes, cakes and good quality second hand items can be left with Claire 223894 or brought to the hall on the day.
